Verity is the first book I ever read from Colleen Hoover, and it set a precedent for my joy of reading her books.

FMC Lowen, a struggling writer is offered the opportunity of a lifetime when MMC Jeremy hires her to complete the best selling series his injured wife (Verity) cannot complete.

With a twist even Lowen wasn't expecting, she ends up living in the house of Jeremy and Verity, living and working out of Verity's home office.

Trying to gain insight into the life of the mysterious woman, Lowen stumbles upon a manuscript that was never meant to be seen, and despite her better judgement, she dives in, curious to find out more about the woman with whom she now shares a house.

Now falling for Jeremy, Lowen struggles with the decision to keep the secret autobiography to herself, or to share it with Jeremy, knowing that not only would it benefit her, but that he deserves to know the truth behind his wife's lies.

This book keeps you paranoid enough to need to keep the light on, and unable to sleep until you've finished every last word. Keep your eyes peeled, I promise you're not imagining it.

Verity is Colleen Hoovers first venture into the thriller genre.

This book had so many turns I just was not expecting, but I loved each one more and more.

Equal parts sexy and thrilling, this book is not what you would think of when you hear "Colleen Hoover", but it's definitely worth a read.

Happy Reading!
